NIKITA NOVIKOV

AirBridgeCargo Airlines technician

"Very early in my career, when I was a young aircraft and cargo ground handling technician, I had a New Year's shift. It's when you don't just show up for work today and leave tomorrow. You start a work day in the old year and end it in the new year.

Back then, in 2017, the weather was far from New Year's Eve: the temperature was around zero. It was drizzling spring rain, and there were puddles underfoot. Nevertheless, our team created a New Year's mood and organized a party in the workplace between flight services. We brought salads, sandwiches, snacks. At the chime of the clock we poured grape juice and wished each other a Happy New Year.

It is traditionally a holiday that should be celebrated with the family, but, unfortunately, we don't always get to. There are things that should not stop - this is production.

And so, today, from the airport platform I wish you a Happy New Year!
