"Each one of us loves and waits for the New Year. This holiday is the embodiment of miracles, which are expected during the most miraculous night of the year, even by those who at this time perform their professional duties.

In the mid-2000s, Izhavia's Moscow route crews included a special employee, who was jokingly nicknamed the "New Year's Air Marshal. This crew member was in charge of opening bottles of champagne, which were served to passengers on the new year' s eve.

We believe that few earthbound barmen can boast such experience of continuously opening sparkling wines, not to mention those whose workplace is located several kilometres above the ground.

On pre-holiday flights on December 31, 2021 the crews will include Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden. For a few hours they will change their magic sleigh for the plane and fly together with the passengers. They have already instructed the catering shop to prepare New Year's treats and promised to prepare the warmest congratulations to charge with luck and joy all the people who are hurrying to their beloved ones on the last day of the year.
