JULIA DOBRIYAN

Belavia flight attendant-instructor

"When planning flights for the New Year, Belavia flight attendants are given the opportunity to choose the route and crew they would like to fly with. As a rule, there are not many flights on the night of December 31 to January 1. I often worked on December 31, and it was always a flight filled with positivity and a New Year's fairy tale.

Once on a New Year's Eve flight I was dressed up as the Snow Maiden. Colleagues also dress up: they put on hats and use holiday paraphernalia. And of course, where can you go without Santa Claus! We always try to make this day on the flight unforgettable for everyone.

Without any doubt, we wish our passengers a Happy New Year, offer champagne, and in response we get their smiles as well as their open hearts. They introduce themselves to each other and even sing New Year's songs. We hold a mini competition right on board and give passengers small presents with the airline logo.

We ask them, for example, to recite a New Year's Eve poem, or to sing a song. And, surprisingly, there are a lot of brave people. I think it's also because the atmosphere is friendly. People often come on board with little presents for us, like sweets or some souvenirs with the year's logo on them.

We are delighted to help our passengers feel the New Year coming and always make our flights brighter, warmer and more memorable. It is important to us to be able to leave a part of ourselves and of our airline in every passenger's heart.

In the days before New Year, and especially on December 31, we want to share the joy with everyone, and I warmly congratulate our favorite passengers with the upcoming New Year! I wish the materialization of ideas, success in business, and prosperity. May the feelings of wonder never leave you and give you unforgettable moments. Many happy meetings, new discoveries, harmony! Fly high, and may this year be as soft and fluffy as the clouds in the porthole.
